Learn about the general operation of a PLM branch facility.

·      Provide customer service to PLM accounts

·      Perform inbound and outbound equipment inspections

·      Help collect meter readings.

·      Partner and complete ride alongs with Sales and Maintenance staff to understand their job roles.

·      Assist and monitor branch and region activity by managing the following accountability reports:

  • Fleet Inventory Reconciliation Report
  • Insurance Expiration Report
  • Preventative Maintenance Report

·      Conduct physical branch fleet inventory every week.

·      Complete safety meetings and audits as needed.

·      Provide analysis to the branch and region to help gain a deeper understanding of the business.

·      Review P&L performance monthly. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

·      Proficient PC skills, specifically within Microsoft Office Suite

·      Able to multi-task, prioritize effectively and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·      Excellent communication skills to interact with a variety of both internal and external resources.

·      Getting in/out of trailers due for inspection.

·      3 points of contact, i.e. Pull yourself up, or using a smaller ladder to get into trailer.

·      Walking to complete yard checks and inventory

·      No consistent heavy lifting except raising roll door

·      Possible lifting office supplies, occasional large box, etc.

  • North Brunswick, NJ

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Students completing their sophomore or junior year working toward a bachelor’s degree in business or business-related field; Logistics; Supply Chain.

 WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a branch environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. No travel required.
