Part-Time Non-Eligible  summer employee positions are not part of the Oakland County Merit System.  These positions are limited to 520 hours during the summer months.  This position will be working from Mid April 2024 to Mid September 2024. 

 
 TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED
 All applicants for this classification must upload a copy of their college transcript under the attachment section. This section is used for TRANSCRIPTS ONLY. Other documents such as references, cover letters, resumes, etc are prohibited and will not be reviewed or considered. 

Job Summary

Under limited supervision, performs duties of moderate difficulty in a business or computer environment. Specific activities vary depending on area assigned such as: Business Administration, Computer Science, Planning, Architecture, Economics, Communications, Engineering, or a similar field. Searches and retrieves records, inputs data and may analyze and report on findings. Exercises sound judgment and knowledge obtained on the job and takes corrective action on unusual deviations from business practices. Utilizes current county-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

At the time of application, applicants must:

1. Have completed at least two (2) years from an accredited college or university, including course work in Business Administration, Computer Science, Planning, Architecture, Economic, Education, Communication, Engineering, or a related area.

College Transcripts

Your application will not be considered for further review if you have failed to provide this information. Transcripts from outside the United States must be assessed for U.S. equivalency by a NACES National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (http://naces.org/members.html). This documentation must be attached to your application if you are certifying you have an education higher than high school/GED. NOTE: This section is used for TRANSCRIPTS ONLY.
