JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMER INTERN
We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working interns to join the LDWW team. At LDWW, we believe real-world intern experience helps to foster a topnotch professional. That’s why, as an LDWW intern, you will get firing-line, hands-on experience in the world of digital marketing and communications. A sample of your tasks may include, but are not limited to the list below.
Sample List of Responsibilities
- Providing support to the client service, social media, digital strategy, and project management teams in the OKC LDWW office
- Developing and writing social media content
- Supporting community management efforts for social media accounts
- Researching, outlining and writing competitive analysis documents
- Organizing documents and taking notes within meetings
- Learning how to use in-house tools, such as Dropbox, Asana and Sprout Social
- Assisting with planning, organizing and executing special events, if needed
- Assisting with event coverage, as needed
- Assisting in the development of strategic plans and documents
- Developing, writing, and pitching approved news releases and media alerts
- Researching, outlining and writing feature materials, video scripts, web copy and other client program writing assignments
- Assisting with media relations, including pitching, researching, scheduling interviews, and developing media backgrounders
- Assisting with research as it relates to new business, client business or agency business
- Some limited direct client interaction may be required, as appropriate
- Some limited travel may be required based on client programs
Ideal Candidates
- We are currently seeking to fill one open internship position.
- Ideal candidates will be intellectually curious, street smart and eager to learn.
- Candidates must be self-starters and demonstrate an ability to produce quality work while paying close attention to details.
- Strong deadline orientation and ability to work within limited time frames is important.
- Experience with digital marketing and project management is a plus.
Other Details
- We offer paid internships as well as school credit with the opportunity for potential full-time paid employment depending on performance during internship and several other factors.
- We are seeking applications from post-graduate and current student candidates with the ability to work a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 9 to 5)
