High School Physical Education Teacher
We are recruiting for the Aromas San Juan Unified School District for a High School Physical Education Teacher. Come join our dynamic team where we work together building a brighter future through our students! Here is a brief description of desired skills:
- Teach knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education, and individual, dual and team sports utilizing the CA Physical Education Standars.
- Provides activities through which students may develop attitudes, work habits, and personal qualifications essential to effective learning.
- Adapts curriculum to meet the needs of each pupil by providing individualized and small group instruction, as much as possible
- Maintains school-owned physical education equipment and the storage of this equipment. Submits purchase requests for supplies and equipment, as needed, and ensures inventory of these supplies is maintained.
- Consistently evaluates and keeps record of student growth in physical education skills and standards.
- Communicates with parents and school personnel regarding student progress and collaborates with staff in ensuring that individual student needs are met.
- Participates in staff development
Requirements: California Single Subject Credential in Physical Education or intern eligible by July 2024 through an accrediated California Credential Program.
ELA or BCLAD authorization.
