Marketing Intern - Multifamily Real Estate - Summer Internship

POSITION: Marketing Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt)

TIME COMMITMENT: This internship will run from 5/28/2024 through 7/31/2024. Time commitment each week will not exceed 30 (thirty) hours and will be monitored through an electronic time clock. 

COMPENSATION: The total compensation for this internship will not exceed Colorado minimum wage. A total of $5,157.78 will be paid bi-weekly in equal installments per the Cardinal Group Companies payroll calendar. 

PHYSICAL LOCATION – This internship will be based in Denver, CO. Applicants based in or willing to self-relocate to Denver will be preferred. 

DIRECT REPORT: Director, Sales & Marketing

SUMMARY

As the Sales and Marketing, you are responsible for performing various marketing tasks assisting the Headquarters marketing team with various marketing needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)

  • Learns strategy and process from the Sales and Marketing Team
  • Works with the Portfolio Sales & Marketing Managers to provide support with community performance as needed.
  • Learns the methods for analyzing marketing-specific data across a range of multifamily assets nation-wide.
  • Works to implement approved marketing initiatives.
  • Creating effective and creative social media content that incorporates and builds on brand guidelines to encourage engagement in the desired target market.
  • Responsible for growing and maintaining the community on all social media mediums for the community portfolio assigned including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, BeReal, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Monitoring daily content and fan engagement on various social media platforms.
  • Track and monitor success of online initiatives using various analytic tools to produce daily, weekly and monthly reports to find areas for improvement.
  • Writing effective summaries to provide our clients with insight and data.
  • Creating unique captions that capture consumer interest and match brand tone.
  • Collaborating and researching social media trends to stay relevant in their assigned market(s).
  • Producing and editing  fresh lifestyle photography and videography that can be used on all digital platforms.
  • Responsible for recruiting, engaging, contracting and managing influencers and community ambassadors of each location they are assigned to ensure they are fulfilling their contractual requirements, providing quality content that is on brand.
  • Assist with other duties as necessary designated by the marketing team or cell team overseeing the community performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree in Marketing, Advertising or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Previous sales/marketing background.
  • Skill in the use of survey and market research methodologies, systems, and techniques.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Express ideas and information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business research principles, processes, and techniques.
  • Ability to understand and carry out industry-specific written and oral direction.
  • Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day.
  • Applicants based in or who are willing to self-relocate to Denver, CO are preferred.
