Job Overview:
This role will operate within the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) Team under Procurement Operations and partner closely with key stakeholders to support projects, as necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review the purchasing process for indirect goods and services from sourcing contracts.
- Partner with the team to expedite purchasing requests.
- Ensure execution of defined purchasing requirements in line with audit 2 and 3-way match audit process.
- Provide order status reporting updates weekly.
- Provide general administrative support to procurement operations and sourcing teams.
- Collect, edit, and provide Procurement data for financial analysis.
- Understand the Global Procurement Policy collaboration and training.
- Support Procurement / Contracts Projects as required.
Job Qualifications:
An interest in Procurement and Supplier Chain activities working within a team with the focus on building knowledge and experience in a global technology company.
Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a BS/MS in Procurement/Business Administration or equivalent
- General understanding of procurement, supplier chain, supplier management
- Good verbal experience within a team environment
- Capable of analytical thinking
- Basic knowledge of policies, procedures, and technology
- Understanding of ERP systems. i.e., SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Workday etc.
- Good working knowledge of MS office suite including Teams, OneDrive, and Webex programs
- Can commit to at least a 12-week internship
- Ability to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the duration of the internship
