Purchasing Analyst Intern

Job Overview:

This role will operate within the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) Team under Procurement Operations and partner closely with key stakeholders to support projects, as necessary.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review the purchasing process for indirect goods and services from sourcing contracts.
  • Partner with the team to expedite purchasing requests.
  • Ensure execution of defined purchasing requirements in line with audit 2 and 3-way match audit process.
  • Provide order status reporting updates weekly.
  • Provide general administrative support to procurement operations and sourcing teams.
  • Collect, edit, and provide Procurement data for financial analysis.
  • Understand the Global Procurement Policy collaboration and training.
  • Support Procurement / Contracts Projects as required.

 

 

Job Qualifications:

An interest in Procurement and Supplier Chain activities working within a team with the focus on building knowledge and experience in a global technology company.

 

Education and Experience:                      

  • Currently enrolled in a BS/MS in Procurement/Business Administration or equivalent
  • General understanding of procurement, supplier chain, supplier management
  • Good verbal experience within a team environment
  • Capable of analytical thinking
  • Basic knowledge of policies, procedures, and technology
  • Understanding of ERP systems. i.e., SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Workday etc.
  • Good working knowledge of MS office suite including Teams, OneDrive, and Webex programs
  • Can commit to at least a 12-week internship
  • Ability to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the duration of the internship
