Impact & Responsibilities: Serves as lead event coordinator in the development and facilitation of student organization programs and events; develops and facilitates training opportunities for student organizations related to event management; hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates student employees; serves on team to coordinate outreach and leadership programs for university students and student organizations; ensures student organizations and activities are in compliance with all university, state, federal and local regulations and risk management policies and guidelines; serves as department representative for campus committees; and performs administrative duties.

 

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in education or related field; at least one year of advising, mentoring, or event planning experience; and exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. 

Regular evening and weekend hours and occasional travel will be necessary.

Student experience will be considered.

 

Preferred: Master's degree in student personnel, higher education administration or related field.
