Water Operations Student Intern

Student Assistant duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Shadow & assist water production operations team with daily duties such as:
  • Assisting with collecting water samples & performing the more routine water quality laboratory tests.
  • Receiving chemical deliveries & general housekeeping of chemical delivery areas.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, servicing & cleaning of equipment & facilities including cleaning tanks, sedimentation basins, & chemical feeders.
  • Perform janitorial work & grounds maintenance.
  • Learn how to read meters, gauges, operate valves, pumps, and other controls to adjust water flow, pressure, and chemical dosages.
