IT Specialist
DESCRIPTION:
Looking for an IT Specialist to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware and software.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware via phone, email, and screen sharing sessions.
- Be able to Install and configure computers, monitors, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardware .
- Keep up-to-date on current technologies through self-study and assigned Continuing Education.
- Assist with managing company Intranet and provide support .
- Assist IT team with various projects including Write/update training manuals and user guides.
- Identify and escalate support situations requiring urgent attention
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills, customer service, communication and troubleshooting skills
- Self-managed, highly motivated and have a strong drive for results.
- May be required to work light overtime.
Proficient use and troubleshooting skills in the following areas:
- Microsoft Windows
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Zoom/Teams
- Mobile Devices (Apple and Android)
- Local / Network Printer Support
- Remote Access Knowledge
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Microsoft CoPilot and ChatGPT a plus
- BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology Studies or equivalent experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment (monitors, workstations, printers, etc.)
