Position Summary:

The Engineering Intern position is integral to support Foundation’s mission to provide a clear and concise technological platform for efficient operations. The position requires strong organizational skills to identify and address both current and future operations projects for the company’s assets. Travel to field locations will be required periodically. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Preparing designs, programs, and cost estimates for solar projects. Performing site visits to assist in this process as necessary.
  • Direct observation and participation in field operations.
  • Analyzing engineering data for investment evaluations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and/or directed.
  • Prepare a summary of their progress to senior leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
  • Overall focus centers on solar facility evaluation and installation.
  • Travel Required – Approximately (25-35%)

 

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Junior or Senior enrolled in a four-year PE, ME, EE, or ChE Bachelor of Sciences Engineering Program
  • Previous Solar experience a plus.
