Digital Community Liaison

Job Description

Ideal candidate is a social media power user, yet also has a solid background in digital marketing. This person should be comfortable being the face of the brand and essentially act as a liaison to the digital community. They will provide regular updates, and make sure followers feel a strong connection to the content and a sense that things are constantly progressing and changing in the space (Real estate and in the ways that they can learn from our company Regular Riches). The candidate should excel at crafting engaging content tailored to our audience, including lively posts, insightful real estate investment updates, and interactive live sessions.

Beyond social media, the ideal candidate will have experience in broader digital marketing strategies in a formal setting—email campaigns, SEO, content marketing, and analytics. They should be able to develop and execute campaigns that complement our social media efforts, enhancing overall brand presence and digital footprint. The role requires someone who combines marketing expertise with a personable approach to keep the community engaged and excited.

The ideal candidate is likely someone with "influencer experience" - some sort of background in running a successful social media campaign for literally anything, whether it is a brand, person, band etc. In the ideal world they are posting tik toks and other short form media to create an audience. A formal background in digital marketing is probably a plus.

Background

The digital opportunity described above could be labeled a start-up, yet the candidate will be working with an established and respected 20-year brand.

We have been teaching real estate investing at live events nationwide since 2006, and have among the best reputations in the real estate education space.   We are co-authors of two best selling real estate investing books, and our first book was featured by Fortune Magazine as a top 5 resource for real estate investors.  Our website for the education business is www.regularriches.com.

We are looking to move from primarily live events to building an online community.  What we are looking to do is not novel and is done by others such as Bigger Pockets and other respected education companies.  There is not really a limit to the growth potential, and because there already is a respected and established brand the buildup should be far easier than starting from scratch.   The expectation is that the position would lead to a full-time job, and within 2-4 years the head of this department would be managing subordinates while earning upwards of 7 figures.   Hence, we are looking for a special candidate.

The initial ramp up can be done on a part-time basis.   We envision within 6-12 months it will be apparent if traction is gained when to move this to a full-time opportunity.   We recommend approaching this as a start up in that there is a huge upside and the social media community will be built from scratch, yet not fully a startup as the campaign director will be working with an established brand and can emulate others who are already doing this with their own brands.

We envision an ideal candidate as one of two scenarios:

* Employed younger professional who can do this on a part time basis initially around his/her day job

* A student on the tail end of his/her studies looking for some paid work experience that can lead to an entrepreneurial opportunity upon graduation

As a bonus the candidate will have an opportunity to be mentored and learn the world of real estate investing from the principals at Regular Riches.   The ideal candidate should possess the aforementioned skills, a self-starter, drive to succeed, and a sense of entrepreneurship.
