Typical Day in the Life
A typical day as a Payroll Compliance Analyst might include the following:
- Assist team to help determine a client’s compliance with collective bargaining agreements that relate to their employee benefits.
- Regularly communicate with clients and provide excellent service via phone, e-mail, and in-person contact.
- Be trained by and work with a team lead who will manage assignments and provide guidance through testing assignment completion.
- Travel with Lead Auditor to the employer sites, complete assignments, and adhere to the time requirements of the engagement.

- You are inquisitive and enjoy learning about various client business processes and traveling to different locations to conduct payroll compliance audits (15-20 percent travel is required in the role).
- You are a multi-tasking master, and there has never been a deadline you could not meet.
- You enjoy being a part of a team and collaborating with others.
- You have knowledge of and exposure to a variety of industries.
- You hold yourself to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality.
- In addition to all of this, you have a Bachelor's degree.

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
Salary Range: $67,000-$82,000
