Come join CDFW's Science Institute as State Wildlife Action Plan Coordinator. The plan also promotes wildlife conservation while furthering responsible development and addressing the needs of a growing human population.

Under general direction of a Senior Environmental Scientist Supervisor, this position will coordinate the 10-year update to the State Wildlife Action Plan. This position will collaborate within the Department and with outside organizations to review and develop content for the 2025 plan update, which will secure grant funding for conserving our unique biodiversity over the next ten years. We are seeking applicants with strong communication and planning skills who can build effective working relationships with a diverse community of colleagues and stakeholders.
