Undergraduate Coach

Job Description: We are seeking motivated Graduate Coaches to collaborate with students applying to programs within your field of expertise. As a Graduate Coach, you will engage directly with students, aiding them in crafting compelling applications and bolstering their extracurricular profiles. The potential for advancement in this role is linked to individual strengths and development areas. We offer a range of opportunities, from part-time contracting to part-time salaried positions, and potentially full-time roles.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional writing skills
- Strong work ethic and dedication
- Experience working with students
- Previous undergraduate or high school teaching experience is a plus
- Admissions experience is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with applicants to enhance their extracurricular profiles and applications
- Engage with students remotely
- Review and edit essays, providing feedback to nurture students' independent writing abilities
- Provide comprehensive support to students throughout the application preparation process
- Develop innovative and practical professional experiences and projects for students' extracurricular pursuits
- Collaborate with a team of up to three counselors and a Senior Counselor Mentor to guide students' progress
- Manage a caseload of 0-15 students based on your availability
