Data Analyst (Natural Resource Monitoring)
- Support monitoring implementation and data analysis in hydrological and aquatic monitoring programs within the framework of BLM’s multiple use mission.
- Analyzes hydrological and aquatic monitoring and assessment data at multiple scales taking into account the underlying sampling design and associated statistical assumptions.
- Reports on natural resource and/or ecological monitoring findings and recommendations. Prepares authoritative final reports and recommendations for management decisions.
- Provides Quality Assurance/Quality Control of monitoring data. Manages natural resource and ecological monitoring data (e.g., geodatabases) and associated files.
- May oversee and/or direct monitoring field crews to meet planned work accomplishments or data collection needs in support of Land Health Evaluations, Resource Management Plan effectiveness, and/or other permitted uses on BLM managed lands.
