The Office of Academic Advising seeks an academic advisor to join our team. This individual will serve as a primary academic advisor to an assigned caseload of undergraduate students, guiding students through academic plan development to meet their academic, career, or personal goals. The caseload could include majors related to health, humanities and sciences, as well as support of an office retention program.

Impact & Responsibilities: Serves as primary academic advisor to an assigned undergraduate students; guides students to meet academic, career, and/or personal goals; supports office retention programs; supports institutional recruitment efforts at on-campus and off-campus events; designs and implements outreach and programming to meet student needs; facilitates academic advising, student success, and retention efforts for targeted groups of undergraduate students; and supports new and ongoing institutional retention, student success, and enrollment management initiatives.

Requirements: Master's degree; at least two years of advising or related experience in higher education; and excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

Graduate student experience will be considered.

Occasional evening and weekend work will be necessary.

Preferred: Master's degree in college student personnel or related field.
