Seasonal Event Support

Carats & Stones is looking for event staff support for our upcoming private event. One of our largest events of the year, the Scoop A-Thon, where we have curated a list of our special clients who are invited to the one of kind event. The event is a family fun event, with a pirate, mermaid and treasure chest filled with gems. It is being held from 6/12-6/15 and we need staff to support the operations. This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in interacting with people, enjoying teamwork, and having some fun.

Job Description

  • Staff to assist our client with managing foot traffic, crowd & line management.
  • Provide a luxury experience to all store clientele.
  • Greet clients and offer them beverages.
  • Assist the sales team with the treasure chest.
  • Serve as a runner to support where needed, e.g. restocking of supplies, cleaning cups, keeping store appearance, and other duties.
  • This event will be located at Carats & Stones – 1833 Union Street, San Francisco.
  • The pay rate for this job is $20/hr.
  • Meal and rest breaks are paid.

Shift Times/Dates (Must be able to work all shifts)

  • 06/12/24 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Mandatory Orientation
  • 06/13/24 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • 06/14/24 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • 06/15/24 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Ideal Candidates

  • Must be friendly, outgoing, and professional.
  • Must be able to work all four days. 
  • Experience in customer service environment preferred.
  • Friendly and outgoing; service mentality.
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written skills;
  • Committed to superior service.
  • Energetic, dependable and a team player.
  • Motivated and results driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Google Sheets
  • Open and enjoys a dog-friendly environment
