Talent Acquisition Administrator

Full Time Year-Round | Range: $65,000-$75,000 DOE

Job Description

This position is responsible for attracting and selecting the best qualified candidates for various civilian positions within the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Examples of Work

  • Works with management to understand current and future workforce needs and develops improvements to staffing processes like sourcing and selection
  • Recruit high quality candidates to meet hiring goals
  • Develops, implements, and manages strategic recruitment and employment programs for civilian employees
  • Keep current with sourcing strategies and industry trends
  • Understands the hiring requirements and performance expectations for each division
  • Responsible for developing and adhering to a tight schedule for processing candidates
  • Generate a diverse candidate population using various methods including job boards, membership organizations, and personal networking
  • Inform candidates fully about the job and company, while improving organization attractiveness by emphasizing benefits and perks
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on ways to improve recruiting methods
  • HRIS

Open Requirements/Supplemental Information

Four years of education, training and/or experience in recruiting. 

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Must have 1 year of high-volume recruiting experience. Employee must have a high level of initiative to meet department goals.
