Quality Verification Project Inspector (TE2)

Seattle, WA – Northwest Region 

$62,596 - $92,836 Annually

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an experienced and motivated engineering professional to join our team in the downtown Seattle area in our Northwest Region. As a project inspector this position inspects and directs the inspection of construction projects to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications including environmental permits with minimum amount of supervision. This position support’s the WSDOT mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and built-in compliance with standard specifications and contract plans. This position accomplishes construction inspection and ensures compliance with contract plans, provisions, and Environmental permits. The Project Inspector prepares a variety of reports to document construction activities, field measurements and observations; tests materials and assists the contract administration team to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation options for the public by ensuring projects are constructed as intended.
