The Role

Donorbox is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Remote Community Engagement Associate. This role will focus on engaging with the nonprofit community through various online platforms and networking with professionals in the sector. This position is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Nonprofit Management or related field, offering valuable experience and flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Engagement in Online Forums: Actively participate in online forums such as LinkedIn and Facebook groups, Reddit, Quora, and nonprofit association forums. Share relevant resources, participate in discussions, and provide valuable insights to establish Donorbox as a thought leader in the nonprofit sector.
  • Networking with Nonprofit Organizations: Build and nurture relationships with nonprofit organizations and professionals across different regions. Proactively engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and demonstrate how Donorbox can support their fundraising efforts.
  • Social Media Engagement: Monitor and respond to online reviews and social media posts related to Donorbox. While not responsible for social media management, the Outreach Coordinator will actively engage with followers, address inquiries, and foster positive interactions to enhance brand reputation.
  • Attendance at Webinars/Seminars: Attend monthly webinars and seminars tailored to nonprofit audiences. Actively participate in the chat, share insights gained from the sessions, and identify opportunities to connect with attendees and promote Donorbox's solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Background in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and online forums.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Passion for the nonprofit sector and a desire to make a positive impact.

  • Hourly: $20-$27, based on experience and location
