Healthy Communities Fiscal Analyst

The Staff Services Analyst (SSA) serves as the FPU Fiscal Analyst and is responsible for the review, monitoring, and tracking of special/federal funding, including grants and contracts/procurement for CHC programs. The SSA coordinates and monitors CHC fiscal drills and inquiries and assists in the coordination, review, and tracking of fiscal packages related to Budget Change Concepts and Proposals (BCCs and BCPs)/Finance Letters. The SSA assists in the development and coordination of fiscal-related training and resources, and coordinates budget/accounting issues. The SSA acts as liaison between CHC and the Administrative Branches/Divisions and provides fiscal-related recommendations to CHC executive leadership and Branch/Office Chiefs.
Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

• Experience reviewing, editing, and coordinating documents, for quality control and accuracy.

• Experience coordinating and reviewing drills/requests and inquiries.

• Experience with fiscal reporting, maintaining tracking systems.

• Effective internal and external customer service skills; verbal and written.

• Ability to work on high priority assignments that may have competing timelines.

• Organizational and time management skills.

• Experience creating and utilizing tracking tools in Microsoft Excel and Word
