Job Summary

Mukhopadhyay Lab is looking to hire a highly motivated, team-oriented, organized Research Scientist with a strong interest in cell biology, pharmacology and high throughput screening. Our lab studies how signaling by primary cilia regulates development and disease. We model debilitating diseases in humans caused by defects in cilia using reverse genetic strategies in mice and are currently focused at developing therapeutics. The position is ideal for those who are interested in working in longer-term lab supportive roles and with a passion for cutting-edge biological research. This position is also good for postdoctoral fellows and scientists looking to gain extended experience working in a lab before pursuing a job in biotech.

The primary responsibilities of the position involve performing experimentation on supervised lab projects. Each of our previous research personnel have ended up as lead author or co-author on multiple lab publications, making it a fantastic opportunity for rich scientific experience and in preparation for biotech.
