Graphics Design Intern: SVG Specialist
About the Role: We are looking for a creative and technically skilled SVG Designer Intern to join our team. This role focuses on converting complex bitmap images into high-quality SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) to be used for state-of-the-art AI applications. Responsibilities:
- Convert bitmap images to vector graphics in SVG format using Inkscape or similar vector graphic design software.
- Ensure that the vectorized images maintain the integrity and aesthetics of the original designs.
- Edit and refine vector paths to eliminate any imperfections, ensuring clean and smooth finishes.
- Optimize SVG files for web and mobile applications to ensure they are lightweight and maintain high quality.
- Collaborate with the design team to understand requirements and deliver graphics that meet or exceed expectations.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in vector graphics to enhance the quality of outputs.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proficient in vector graphic design software
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles and digital art fundamentals.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with an artistic eye for color, composition, and font.
