Legal Instruments Examiner
- Examines legal instruments pertaining to applications for permit to drill, sundry notices, amendments, transfers of interest, address changes, annual filings, and other documents submitted by oil and gas operators.
- Examines documents for recordation for mining locations, determines if documents filed are in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Will notify operators of non-compliant documents.
- Conducts reviews of case file information and coordinates with other staff and field offices when needed.
- Provides quality control in filing and maintenance systems and database systems that are relevant to oil and gas i.e. AFMSS
