Mobile Phone Program Lead

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is committed to effectively delivering essential Public Health services directly and/or through strong and effective Partnerships.  The Program Support Branch (PSB) provides a variety of supportive services to CDPH Programs.

This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by independently performing the more complex and varied analytical tasks associated with the Fleet and Asset Management Unit (FAMU).

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager (SSM) I, Chief of FAMU the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will independently oversee CDPH mobile phone and conference line program. Reviews cellular and conference lines requests for approval in accordance with the requirements of the Public Health Administrative Manual, State Administrative Manual (SAM), and Statewide Telecommunications Management Manual (STMM). Procures mobile phone equipment and establishing new lines of service. Maintains and tracks mobile phone inventory. Prepares cellular equipment inventory and cost reports for upper management to make cost-saving recommendations.
