Recent Graduate or Near-Term Graduation - Program Analyst - OW

Summary

This position is in Office of Water (OW), Resource Management Staff. About OW:  OW

This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

Duties

At the entry level of this position, you will:

  • Analyze, evaluate, and develop recommendations for lines of business related to water programs in the Program Area Contact's (PAC) portfolio.
  • Participate in a support role on internal workgroups of resource management and policy personnel assigned to develop resource recommendations needed to finalize products such as OW’s annual operating plan, budget justifications, metric development, and national water program guidance.
  • Draft and maintain guidance documents for leadership review concerning program evaluation, program performance and planning; policy; budget; and strategic planning aspects of OW’s programs.
  • Serve as a primary liaison and point of contact for one or more Program Offices on budget and performance.
  • Assist in providing training to staff on systems and processes, and support the orientation for new staff on budget and performance work.

You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
