Job Description:
We are a nurse call system manufacturer with over 50 years of experience servicing healthcare facilities throughout the nation. We are currently seeking to hire a highly motivated individual for an Entry Level Lab Technician/ Junior Engineer position to work within the Engineering Department in the design, production and testing of internal hospital nurse call equipment.
The candidate must be familiar with digital and analog circuits analysis, be able to perform bench tests with tools such as, but not limited to, oscilloscopes, multimeters, variable power supplies. Must also have knowledge of embedded systems design and programming, C/C++ language development environments. Must be willing to learn new concepts.
Responsibilities:
- Work with electronic sub-assemblies, testing, certifying for proper operation and updating when necessary.
- Collaborate in design concepts, prototyping and production of nurse call intercoms.
- Produce schematics and printed circuit board.
- Creating and updating reports and technical manuals.
- Creating and updating B.O.M.
- Assist production and overseeing quality assurance.
- Understanding the installation and troubleshooting of live systems in a hospital setting.
- Prepare product and documentation for lab testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Engineering or related equivalent degree.
- Knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuits and concepts.
- Knowledge of embedded system communication interfaces, uart, spi, ethernet, etc. and development environments.
- Microsoft Office, CAD design, embedded C.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be proactive and willing to learn.
