Construction Materials Testing Technician- Madison, WI

Our firm is looking for a motivated and reliable individual who would be responsible for sampling and testing of concrete, soil and asphalt from various construction projects throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.. They would be primarily working unassisted (after certification completion) on construction sites. Work is primarily outdoors, with some laboratory testing. Must be able lift 50-80 lbs unassisted, traverse varying field conditions, and show care for equipment and company vehicle.

On the Job

• Work is generally Mon-Fri between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, with some Saturday and evening work.

• Employee would be primarily working out of the Madison office, although occasional support of our Milwaukee office may be necessary.

• Work setting is typically 70% field and 30% laboratory.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.

• Ability to read and understand construction plans after training

• Good driving record and valid WI driver's license.

• Must pass pre-employment, non-DOT drug screening.

• Clear and concise English communication skills both written and verbal.

• Candidate will provide own construction appropriate clothing.  

• Footwear allowance, safety equipment will be provided.
