This position serves as a state recognized resource for the following programs: Crime Victim Assistance and Crime Victim Compensation for MDHHS and performs complex senior level accounting and financial management duties on a regular basis. Position makes recommendations for responding to special non-routine circumstances while providing the grant financial management responsibilities associated with various federal, state and private grant programs including cash management, maintenance of the Statewide Integrated Governmental Management Applications (SIGMA) based grant accounting structures, complex quarterly financial reporting while performing detailed and complex analysis of grant financial data. The senior level accountant performs intricate year-end closing tasks and special projects assigned by the Revenue and Federal Reporting management team.
