Medical Assistant
Our integrated clinical practice is looking for Medical Assistants for few of our Physicians.
We are in need of a motivated, compassionate and high-energy individual to join our innovative Ear Nose and Throat (and Allergy) practice in San Francisco Bay Area. We have several locations that serve the diverse patient community of San Francisco, Marin and the East Bay. This medical assistant position is a unique opportunity to gain experience in the art and practice of medicine through patient care, research opportunities, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting, rooming patients and documenting medical histories
- Assisting physicians in patient care, including assisting with office-based procedures
- Entering notes and information into EHR system during and after patient visits
- Following up with patients regarding test results and further care
Required Qualifications:
- Interest in pursuing a career or further education in the medical field
- Preference given to pre-med, pre-PA and pre-NP candidates (our physicians will write letters of recommendation). Others can apply as well.
- Compassionate and patient centric
- Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Superb communication and collaborative skills
- Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality
- Candidate must be highly professional, personable and share our commitment to patient care and service
