Objective:
This internship provides an opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to the financial services industry while developing a strong understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Financial Advisor. The anticipated start date for this position is approximately June 1, 2025. Looking to hire 1 intern for the Madison office and 1 Intern for the Green Bay office.
Position Description:
The selected intern will:
- Acquire hands-on experience in a professional financial services environment.
- Develop problem-solving and strategic planning skills to assist clients in achieving their financial objectives.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and event planning efforts to enhance the client experience.
- Build and foster professional relationships with mentors, wholesalers, and financial advisors.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with existing clients to strengthen their relationship with the firm by managing correspondence, assisting with event planning, and supporting marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with Financial Advisors to develop financial plans using E-Money and prepare client meeting reports utilizing Morningstar. Additionally, identify and introduce supplementary reports that may provide valuable insights during client consultations.
- Conduct research and perform analyses on mutual funds, stocks, and annuities using Morningstar, offering strategic recommendations to the Financial Advisor for portfolio allocations.
- Provide administrative support to the Financial Advisor, Client Service Associates, and Office Administrator, including completing necessary forms, coordinating paperwork with clients, and liaising with investment companies to facilitate document processing.
