Vintage is a small team that features a positive, kind and fun work culture.  We currently have an open position on our Wise Neighbor Project team:

 

  • Community Health Worker (Full-Time)

 

The position is located at the Vintage Center for Active Adults (421 N. Highland Avenue, East Liberty, PA 15206).  Vintage is a senior community center where independent adults ages 60 and older come to stay healthy in body and mind.  Attendees participate in physical fitness classes, as well as art, culture, games (cards/pool/bingo) and more.  We are open Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and lunch is served each day. Participants get to Vintage by driving, taking the bus, ACCESS/OPT and walking. 

 

  • The Community Health Worker will be working directly with adults ages 50 and older to connect them to community resources that will improve their physical and mental health.  The Community Health Worker will make calls and home visits in the local community AND provide support at Vintage for center attendees.  This position is mostly Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with occasional evenings and weekends that are determined in advance.  Pay rate: $18.97 and $20/hour with eligibility for health benefits, retirement and more. Vintage will cover the cost of obtaining a Community Health Worker certification. All of those interested are encouraged to apply including Spring 2025 graduates.
