Certified Lifeguard

We are looking for a handful of lifeguards for this 2025 summer season. No experience necessary but having some experience or being a strong swimmer is a plus. Lifeguards need to be proactive, vigilant, and quick to react in an emergency. You are responsible for surveying the pool and conducting rescues to help weak or injured swimmers get to safety. The guards also need to have strong communication, leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills. We do require all lifeguard's to be certified. We offer a certification course here at the club in mid may. We have a variety of shifts available everyday ranging from 1230-8 or 9pm. The average shift is 4-5 hours. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Maintains active surveillance of the pool area. 
2. Responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with CCCC policies, procedures; completes related reports as required.
3. Responds to challenges with possible solutions in a timely manner.
4. Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies, and guidelines for the pool and pool deck.
5. Helps maintain cleanliness of pool deck and pool bathrooms
6. Remains calm and objective when under pressure or when challenged by others.
7. Performs all secondary duties in a timely manner as required for each shift. 
8. Performs all lifeguard duties, including ability to lift people out of pool, perform CPR, scan pool to ensure safety of participants.
9. Checks the pool for hazardous conditions when arriving and for the duration of the shift.
