Inside Sales Representative - Electrical Services

Location: Charlotte, NC, or Columbia, SC

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Inside Sales Representative to generate B2B leads and contribute to our continued success within our Electrical Services Division.

Position Overview:

The Inside Sales Representative for our Electrical Services Division will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities within the B2B sector. This individual will be responsible for building relationships, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for the sales team. Using our ZOHO CRM, you will manage lead generation, track sales activity, and collaborate closely with the broader sales and marketing teams to achieve performance targets. This role offers a competitive base salary and eligibility for quarterly performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation:
    • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the B2B space within the electrical services industry.
    • Research potential clients and create a robust pipeline of leads through outreach, networking, and cold calling.
    • Leverage various resources, including ZOHO CRM, industry-specific databases, and online platforms to generate leads.
  • CRM Management:
    • Use ZOHO CRM to track lead generation, update client information, and manage the sales pipeline.
    • Ensure accurate data entry and timely follow-up with prospects to maintain an active sales funnel.
  • Collaboration & Appointment Setting:
    • Work closely with the field sales team to transition qualified leads and set appointments for them to meet with potential clients.
    • Collaborate with marketing to align on messaging and promotional strategies for lead generation.
  • Sales Support:
    • Assist in developing sales strategies and proposals, ensuring potential clients understand the value of Allegiance's electrical services.
    • Maintain communication with potential clients, answering inquiries and providing product/service information as needed.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly lead generation goals, ensuring a consistent flow of quality leads.
    • Participate in regular sales meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and feedback from prospects

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
    • Experience within the electrical services or facilities management industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage potential clients.
    • Proficient in using CRM tools (experience with ZOHO CRM is a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivation & Drive:

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
