Behavior Technician - Level 2 Provider

Job Summary

As a Behavioral Technician, you will work closely with a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) to deliver personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related conditions. You will work with families and caregivers to help children achieve their developmental goals, improve social skills, and promote independence through customized interventions.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement ABA therapy programs as directed by the BCBA.

- Provide 1:1 therapy in home and community-based settings.

- Provider Observation and Direction to other providers.

- Collect and record data on child progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.

- Collaborate with families to ensure consistency and reinforce therapy outcomes.

- Participate in team meetings and receive ongoing training to maintain high-quality service delivery.

- Maintain the integrity of health service records based on state regulations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

-Applicants must meet the following EIDBI Level II qualifications for education and/or experience:


Level 2: (must meet one of the criteria below; pay range of $22-$25 an hour)

- Enrolled in OR hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy)

- Hold an associate’s degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy) andat least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (including but not limited to experience as a DSP, PCA, Paraprofessional)

- Possess a high school diploma (or GED) and have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (equivalent to 2 years of full-time experience, including but not limited to experience as a DSP, PCA, Paraprofessional )

- Fluent in a non-English speaking language or certified by a tribal nation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
