High Point Classical Academy, located in Larksville, PA has full-time teacher openings for the 2025-2026 school year. High Point Classical Academy seeks to train the whole student, both the mind and the heart while instilling excellence in all pursuits. In addition, we will train our students with biblical knowledge and our core principles: truth, courage, and virtue.
This professional should be able to plan lessons based on the school’s approved Hillsdale curriculum which provides a scope of the topics to be taught, a sequence in which to teach them, and a complement of vetted and reviewed books, primary sources, and other materials for teachers and students. Lessons must reflect HPCA’s educational philosophy and emphasis on Classical Education. The teacher must reflect a personal commitment to life-long learning and the ability to adapt instruction to best meet individual student learning styles and ever-changing needs as well as present educational initiatives. A proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with parents, peers, and administrators is required.
Spiritual Qualifications:
- Be a professing Christian that is a member of a church.
- Be in agreement with the school’s and church’s published doctrinal position.
- Possess a strong Christian Philosophy of Education.
