Polymer Chemistry Intern
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join our dynamic team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You will work in Thick Film Photoresist (TFR) R&D team, focusing on research and development of TFR formulations for advanced IC packaging applications.
- Design and conduct innovative polymer /PAG synthesis and characterization of new materials
- Develop new platforms and optimize formulations to improve the performance of targeted products
- Communicate and present the research test results with the team and department manager in weekly meetings and monthly reports with scientific logic and conclusion.
- Proactively seek and provide ideas to address technical issues.
This internship will provide valuable exposure to the pharmaceutical industry and essential skills that are applicable in future career endeavors.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and execution of experiments related to drug discovery and development.
- Support clinical trial activities, including data collection and analysis.
- Conduct laboratory tests using techniques such as chromatography and molecular biology.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Collaborate with team members on quality control measures and analytical chemistry tasks.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and findings accurately.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and contribute ideas for improvement.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biology, or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Familiarity with clinical trials, organic chemistry, drug discovery processes, and experimental design is preferred.
- Knowledge of quality control practices and analytical techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges in a laboratory setting.
