Our platform is used by tutors, teachers, and schools across the U.S. to improve literacy instruction. We’re a small team with big goals—and this summer, we’re looking for a digitally-savvy student to help us grow our impact through online advertising.
Job Description
We’re seeking a part-time Digital Advertising Specialist to design, execute, and optimize our first-ever online advertising campaigns. This role is ideal for a student who already has hands-on experience with Google Ads and Facebook/Meta Ads and is excited to take ownership of meaningful marketing initiatives.
You’ll work in person at Plywood Place in Atlanta alongside our founder to:
Develop and launch digital ad campaigns aimed at driving traffic to a no-login version of our literacy tool.
Create, test, and iterate on ad copy, visuals, and targeting to maximize engagement and conversions.
Monitor performance metrics and report on KPIs such as CTR, CPC, conversion rate, and ROI.
Collaborate with external experts when necessary (we’ll fund additional support if you hit blockers).
Recommend and document best practices that can guide future internal efforts.

Ideal Candidate
Currently enrolled student with coursework or experience in digital marketing.
Demonstrated experience with Google Ads and Facebook/Meta Ads Manager (please include a portfolio or example results if available).
Comfortable using analytics platforms and interpreting ad performance data.
Self-directed, curious, and eager to work in a startup environment.
Strong communicator with a desire to contribute to a meaningful educational mission.
