Remodeling/Carpentry Apprentice
Our value-add remodeling company is looking for individuals interested in developing and/or their refining carpentry and construction skills in a fast-paced work environment during our busiest season. The ideal candidate will be interested in the some or all of the various aspects of the industry - carpentry, building systems, architecture, engineering, real estate, business, and investing - and be willing to be a team player in the completion of projects.
Duties Include:
- Demolition of kitchens, baths, etc.
- Finish carpentry (measuring and cutting trim and door casings, etc)
- Framing
- Cabinet hanging
- Appliance Installation
- Finish Drywall and Painting
- Door installation
- Work site clean up
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proficiency using various hand tools (drill, impact driver, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Ability to review plans and scope with a supervisor and then execute the work with supervision
- Ability to accurately determine timelines for completion of tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Strong problem solving skills
- Attention to workmanship and detail
- Ability to work safely and responsibly
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Additional Requirements:
- Must submit to a criminal background check
- Must be legal to work in the US
- Must possess valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be willing to drive between project sites
- Must have a smart phone for time tracking in our software
