Summer Marketing Content Intern
Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and driven Summer Marketing Intern with a strong focus on content creation and design to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. The intern will directly support the VP of Marketing and the VP of Product Marketing, contributing to key content and visual marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Development:
Craft compelling written content for various marketing channels, including blog posts, website copy, social media, and email campaigns.
Develop engaging visual content, such as graphics, presentations, and potentially short videos, to support marketing initiatives.
Assist in the creation of case studies, white papers, and other in-depth content assets.
Adapt content to different formats and platforms while maintaining brand voice and style.
Social Media & Communications:
Develop and maintain the company's social media calendar.
Coordinate and communicate social media push schedules to major stakeholders for amplification.
Monitor and report on social media performance.
Communications:
Draft email communications for key announcements (e.g., launch, customer wins) to be sent from the desk of the CEO to investors and stakeholders.
Assist in the creation and distribution of internal and external company newsletters.
Update website copy and develop landing pages as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide event support, including logistics and promotion.
Serve as an administrative point person, tracking project statuses and ensuring timely completion.
Utilize Notion for project management.
Help maintain and enhance a comprehensive market map.
Work with the team to create and update a competitive database.
Generate competitive overviews highlighting key industry players.
Set up and monitor Google Alerts for key industry updates and news.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a related field.
Strong interest in B2B SaaS and technology.
Excellent written and visual communication skills, with a portfolio or examples of content creation (e.g., writing samples, graphic design projects, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with CRM software (HubSpot preferred), marketing analytics platforms, and project management tools (Notion preferred) is a plus.
Basic understanding of SEO.
Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.
