French Teacher - High School

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of French Teacher at Mt. Lebanon High School.
 

This is a full-time, on-site, anticipated contract vacancy beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.

In order to be eligible to apply, the candidate must hold an active Instructional Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in World Languages French PK-12.
OR equivalent authorization in the form of a college/university placeholder letter stating completion of a PDE approved teacher preparation program and evidence of passing scores on the appropriate certification examinations, while certification is pending through PDE.

This position may include an AP French instructional assignment. Experience teaching AP French preferred.

Entry onto the salary schedule for new hire teachers is capped at Step 4 for individuals with prior K-12 teaching experience.

Arrest or Conviction Form PDE 6004 (Act 24)
School Personnel Health Record & TB Test
Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
